Real Wedding ~ Kara and Chris

We couldn't wait to share Kara and Chris' Bald Head Island wedding photographed by Rachel for Millie Holloman Photography and now you can see why. From the soft muted palette to the delicate details and vintage touches we love everything about this DIY wedding completely designed by the bride. The couple wed on the beach in an intimate ceremony in front of the water where a surfboard adorned with fabric garland stood at the altar. Afterward friends and family celebrated the nuptials at the beautiful beach house Kara had decorated with paper garlands in a pretty palette of muted hues of peach, cream, ivory and pink that hung on the porch. Khaki linens draped over the tables, while lace dollies provided a base for the lovely peony blooms that sat nestled into an eclectic mix of milk glass vessels. Paper hearts hung like garland over the porch swing on strands of vintage inspired ribbon where guests left messages of well wishes to the happy couple. Don't miss a single detail of this incredibly inspiring DIY wedding and to see more of Kara and Chris' stunning Bald Head Island wedding, visit the Millie Holloman Photography blog!
