Real Wedding ~ Sidney and William

With a wedding date that falls on Hallows' eve, Sidney and William infused a little trick-or-treat spirit into their Rosemary Beach wedding, photographed by Rae Leytham Photography, making it the perfect wedding to feature as we head into the Halloween weekend! Sidney looked beautiful in her mermaid silhouette gown with sweetheart neckline and gently ruched detailing. She accessorized with a big floral hair fascinator and birdcage veil that were the perfect compliments to her sleek gown. William wore a tailored khaki suit with white button down, chocolate tie and fern curl boutonniere. With white garden chairs nestled on the beach and a bamboo canopy draped with muted khaki linens framing the ocean views, Sidney walked down the beach aisle with her father carrying a gorgeous bouquet of soft pink and white mixed blooms. Framed by the canopy and two large ferns on either side of them, Sidney and William exchanged vows with a stunning ocean backdrop.

Designed in a pretty palette of chocolate brown and soft pinks the couple's large tented reception looked spectacular. Chocolate pintuck linens draped over the round guest tables, while linen napkins at each place setting in a soft pink hue added a nice contrast to the table. Celestine's Weddings created branched centerpieces of curly willow and small white blooms. Small vases filled with rocks and water featured floating candlelight on the tables, while large round pendents adorned the all white tented ceiling. Adding a little bit of trick-or-treat fun to the decor a candy buffet filled with Halloween treats of candy corn and pumpkin peeps was displayed at the reception and decorated with a haunted house and pumpkin painted with the couple's custom monogram design. Confections on the Coast created Sidney and William's magnificent wedding cake that featured four different patterned tiers in the chocolate, white and soft pink palette adorned with the couple's monogram. Don't miss a single detail of Sidney and William's Halloween wedding, including the candy apple favors and spectacular sunset images on the beach. Real Wedding ~ Amy and Matt

We absolutely love Amy and Matt's colorful Southern affair in Austin, TX photographed by The Nichols and produced by Suzanne Court Catering & Events. Designed in a palette of raspberry pink, fuchsia, orange and coral, the colors culminated into a vibrant burst of color in every element from the bridesmaid's dresses to the cake. Amy looked pretty in a classic A-line gown with sweetheart neckline and floral embroidered embellishment at the waist. She accessorized with a lace trimmed veil and a sparkling pair of gold heels. Her bridesmaids wore cocktail dresses in raspberry pink with alternating necklines of strapless and tuxedo, while carrying sunkist orange bouquets of tulips, chrysanthemums and roses. Matt and his groomsmen wore khaki trousers, white button downs and navy blazers paired with ties and boutonnieres to match the bridesmaids. The ceremony took place outside beneath the trees that were adorned with hanging white paper lanterns and ribbon treatments in the cheery palette framing the happy couple as they exchanged vows.

Outside the cocktail hour was set with white padded lounge seating adorned with pillows in pinks and oranges. Cocktail tables were situated around the patio draped in a muted olive hue with table runners in raspberry pink. Long exposed light wood tables with linen table runners at the base and iridescent orange fabric on top provided additional seating. Fabian Salcedo created a variety of unique centerpieces in the event palette from small wooden boxed arrangements of chrysanthemums, roses and branches adorned with fuchsia orchids to potted arrangements of hydrangea, cherry brandy roses and sprigs of fuchsia orchids. Cocktails were served out of glass drink dispensers with pretty signage wrapped around each vessel. Inside Mercury Hall the colorful palette was toned down by using khaki as the base. Round tables were situated around the hall and covered in khaki linens and paired with deep chocolate brown chivari chairs bringing focus to the vibrant centerpieces that featured both a tall branched design and small low arrangement of a variety of blooms. Simon Lee Bakery created the couples fabulous cake with four tiers embellished with polka dots in the event palette that trickled up to the top tier that was dressed with a plaque of the couple's names and a black iron cake topper. Don't miss a single detail of the couple's gorgeous reception including the pretty signage and Amy's flirty little reception frock. THE LOWDOWN ON OPEN NECKLINES

Love showing off some decolletage?  Low necklines can be so flattering and in my opinion look good on most women, no matter how large or scarcely defined the bosom is.  Fit is key here so finding the right alterations specialist is important.  If you have your gown custom made the fit is built into the gown; gowns ordered through a salon go through alterations once delivered . . .
The Square Neckline-One of my personal favorites, conveying a real open look, square necks look great on ballgown and A-line silhouettes.
The Round Neckline- Curved neckline showing some decolletage but not quite as low as a scoop.

The Scoop Neckline-Lower and more open than the round neckline
The V Neckline-Though wider cut and more open than most, this V points down and up like the letter it is named after.

The Off-the-Shoulder and Portrait Neckline-
Both necklines are similar and extend horizontally across the collar area and either sit slightly above or below the shoulders.
