Real Wedding ~ Laura and Mark

We love a good DIY wedding and that's exactly why we had to share Laura and Mark's sweetly styled DIY wedding photographed by Adam of W. Scott Chester Photography. Located at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, Laura and Mark exchanged vows in the Day Chapel situated in the secluded hardwood forest. Laura wore a pretty lace Melissa Sweet gown accessorized with a bow tied belt to cinch in the waist and beautiful gold engraved locket. The ultimate DIY bride, Laura designed and crafted many of the lovely details of the day from the blush pink, white and blue paper goods to the post card guest book. Laura carefully curated all the items used in the decor including the eclectic collection of vintage vessels used by Gardenia Floral Design to hold the arrangements of mixed pale florals and succulents. Our favorite detail though, is the seating chart illustrated by Laura and her mother who created whimsical coat of arms drawings and names for each table assignment. Don't miss a single incredible detail, including the couple's salty and sweet dessert spread featuring cake from Cecilia Villaveces Cakes.
