Weddings Unveiled: How did you become a designer?

Anne Bowen: It is innate.

WU: How would you describe your style?

AB: Modern, sexy, and glamorous.

WU: Who is the woman you're designing for?

AB:
She is confident and fashion savvy.

WU: Where do you find inspiration?

AB: Inspiration is unique to each collection from music to art to nature. We draw upon beauty in all facets of life.

WU: What is your creative process?

AB: Walk, think, paint, sketch, drape.

WU: What are your favorite materials to work with?

AB:
I love all textiles as each brings a unique quality to the process.

WU: What advice would you offer brides searching for the perfect dress?

AB: Be true to yourself and listen to what you like.

WU: What is the best advice anyone has ever given you?

AB: Know what your vision is and surround yourself with those persons most capable of making it happen.

WU: Tell us three things you can't live without.

AB: Creating, my puppies and my family & friends.

WU: What is next for Anne Bowen?

AB: I cannot tell you yet, but we have some very exciting things working. I cannot wait to share them with all our friends.

“Of The Gods” was inspired by Welsh goddesses. Being of Welsh descent, Anne Bowen created a collection that of sheer mesh organza, tulle, and sheer chiffon creating an ethereal lightness.
