Real Wedding ~ Carlin and Hart

We first fell in love with Carlin and Hart when we featured the sweet couple's charming engagement session a few months ago from the talented husband and wife duo, The Schultzes. For their wedding day though it was all about chic Southern sophistication with an event palette of black, white and chartreuse. Wearing a fitted mermaid silhouette with gently ruched detailing and pretty sweetheart neckline, Carlin looked flawless. She wore her golden locks back in a low chignon and added a pair of glittering chandelier earrings and gold embellished heels. Her bridesmaids wore the same mermaid silhouette with chic one shoulder black gowns that were punctuated by their vibrant green monochromatic bouquets of hydrangea blooms and spider mums wrapped at the stems with black ribbon and curled green floral wire design. The men exuded Southern sophistication wearing tailored black tuxedos paired with black bowties, while Hart opted for a white bowtie and cummerbund to match his bride. The ceremony took place at First Baptist Church where a string quartet played the processional music. Carlin walked down the aisle carrying a beautiful bouquet of lush white blooms and leafy accents as her father escorted her and her long chapel length veil trailed behind.

A gorgeous reception followed in Uptown Charlotte at Bentley's on 27 where wedding coordinator Carolina Wedding Design and florist The Pace of Flowers transformed the space into a romantic candlelit design. Moss covered initials of the bride and groom hung from the outside of the doors greeting guests as they entered the intimate reception space. Soft gray linens draped the tables paired with the chic padded black leather dining chairs of the restaurant. Tall glass cylindrical vases adorned the guest tables with bouquets of soft white blooms and green accents. The head table featured a long exposed wood table set with soft gray overlays and stunning silver candelabras. Small little ornate cups ran down the center of the table filled with daisies and white roses as the only floral arrangements. As the night drew on the candlelight filled the room and guests began to dance the night away to The Strictly Business Band, including the surpise guest Cocky the mascot of the USC Gamcocks. Don't miss any of the reception details, including the couple's exquisite four tier confection created by Cake Lady Jill designed with beautiful folding layers.
