Casting for Recovery

Casting for Recovery is a national non-profit support and educational organization for women who have or have had breast cancer and since it's creation in 1996 it's served over 4,500 breast cancer survivors in retreats that provide emotional and medical support and teach new skills through catch-and-release fly fishing. The retreats incorporate counseling, educational services, and fly fishing to promote physical and mental healing. The non-profit organization recently announced that one of its national sponsors, L.L. Bean has launched a special line of Tropicwear women's lightweight shirts and baseball caps featuring the Casting for Recovery logo. In addition to highlighting Casting for Recovery's mission in their Spring 2011 fishing catalog, L.L. Bean will donate $2 from the sales of every hat and pink shirt to Casting for Recovery. To learn more about Casting for Recovery, find local retreats and to make a donation, visit their website. To shop the entire Casting for Recovery pink shirt and hat line, visit the L.L. Bean website.
