Real Wedding ~ Jessi and Michael

We couldn't wait to share Jessi and Michael's Asheville, NC wedding packed full of inspiring details and photographed by the talented Caroline Ghetes Photography. The event took inspiration from the season, with the outdoor ceremony designed in a colorful palette of khaki, lavender, clover and orange. Jessi wore a beautiful satin ivory gown with portrait collar and gently ruched detailing across the bust making her the picture of classic elegance. The bridesmaids wore pretty knee-length cocktail dresses in clover, while the groomsmen dressed in their summer best with khaki suits, white button downs and patterned ties to match the hue of the bridesmaids' dresses. Michael, on the other hand, added a vibrant touch to his suit with an orange tie. Jessi carried a spectacular bouquet of mixed white and green blooms made by The Bloom Room, while her bridesmaids carried similar smaller versions of her bouquet with touches of lavender blooms. With a stunning view of The Blue Ridge Mountains, Jessi and Michael exchanged vows in the intimate outdoor venue.

The reception was held in the pavilion at The Crest Center where it's exposed wooden beam ceiling and massive windows with views of the mountains set the tone for the rustic inspired decor. A long Viking-style table ran down the center of the venue, while small round guest tables were situated around it on either side draped in crisp white linens. Place cards were set in small little plants for each guest on a table with a seating chart diagram and tumbling urn centerpiece filled with hydrangea blooms and branches. Guest tables were labeled with places and things that Jessi and Michael both loved to do with a picture and story describing each card trimmed in celadon and nestled next to each arrangement that decorated the table. Centerpieces were varied and unique, using similar flowers, moss, wrought iron candelabras and a mixture of vintage vessels. The head table featured low arrangements in aged wood boxes with branches and moss creating a natural runner down the length of the table. Iron candelabras adorned the table along with small votive candles in aged mercury glass. Chris Cates & The Master Plan had guests out on the dance floor that was covered with a canopy of twinkle lights, while a smilebooth filled with fun props added another source of entertainment for the evening.
