Real Wedding ~ Claire and Brent

Claire and Brent are such a happy couple. The two have known each other since they were little and we couldn't wait to share their sweet Southern wedding at Antique Rose Emporium photographed by Kelly Hornberger Photography. The event palette was as bright and cheery as the couple, designed in a palette of shades of blues from cobalt to cornflower and accented with vibrant yellow hues and natural tones in khaki and green. Claire wore a gorgeous figure hugging lace gown with pretty lace cap sleeve detailing and tiny buttons down the back. She accessorized with a feathery fascinator and added a birdcage veil for her walk down the aisle. Her bridesmaids wore short summer dresses in a range of styles, but all in shades of blue from cobalt to cornflower, while the groomsmen wore khaki trousers and vests with white button downs and ties in yellow to match the girl's vibrant bouquets. Brent wore a khaki three piece suit with white button down paired with a tie in cornflower blue and colorful yellow boutonniere on his lapel. Claire and Brent exchanged vows at the little red chapel with a large interior space featuring vaulted ceilings and exposed wooden beams woven with panels of pale yellow fabric.

The reception took place at the pavilion at Antique Rose Emporium where the open sides and vaulted glass ceiling provided an open air space. A chalkboard arrow sign led the way to the reception where a mixture of round and long Viking-style guest tables were draped with pale yellow linens and paired with natural wood garden chairs. Patterned overlays in the event palette decorated the round guest tables creating a colorful base to the sunflower, iris and daisy centerpieces that were accented with greenery. The long head table featured a table runner in maize adorned with mason jars filled with the same vibrant blooms, while white and yellow paper lanterns hung above from the rafters. Table numbers were labeled with cards featuring the couple's custom monogram and trimmed in a pale blue and yellow layered damask print that matched their Western vintage inspired invitations from MewPaperArts. Piece A Cake Bakery created the couple's incredible confection with three tiers of golden yellow fondant covered cake adorned with tiny sugar flower daisies and two little blue birds nestled on top as the cake topper.
