Real Wedding ~ Natalie and Nick

We love the design of this vintage, homespun wedding at the Greystone in Atlanta, GA photographed by Kyle Hale. Natalie and Nick's event was created in a bright palette of aquamarine, vibrant orange and deep fuchsia mixed with some softer shades of peach, pink and white. Natalie wore a feminine figure hugging gown with sweetheart neckline and tiny bow detailing paired with a fingertip veil that sat nestled into her curled brown locks. Nick wore an ash gray suit with white button down paired with a sky blue tie and floral sprig of small white flowers as his boutonniere. The ceremony was held outside on the Greystone terrace overlooking the crystal blue pool. Guests were seated in bronze chivari chairs as Natalie carried a full bouquet of white blooms trailing with aquamarine and apple satin ribbons down the aisle. Flanked on either side by two gorgeous arrangements set in ornate stone vessels, she and Nick exchanged vows in the intimate setting in front of close family and friends. Afterwards Piedmont Park with its lush green lawns and vine covered stone walls set the idyllic backdrop for a few portraits in the park.

The reception took place inside the Greystone where a variety of vintage inspired table clothes featuring sweet floral designs covered each table. The wonderful Amy Osaba created centerpieces using a variety of vintage vessels creating an eclectic mix with everything from glass cake stand domes to aged silver mint julep cups. An array of full and colorful blooms decorated each unique tabletop adding vibrant splashes of color throughout the dull gray granite walls of the Greystone. With a beautiful vintage patterned linen and fabric swag made from tied handkerchiefs, the couple's four tier butter cream frosted confection was a spectacular focal point in the room. Decorated with a full deep fuchsia peony bloom at the top and two antique brass birds on the table the pretty cake was served up to guests along with MoonPie favors. The night ended with a showering as the couple exited under cheers from their guests. To see more of Natalie and Nick's vintage inspired wedding design, visit florist Amy Osaba's blog!
