Real Wedding ~ Catherine and Patrick

Catherine and Patrick were married in an elegant low country affair captured by VISIO Photography. With elaborate details and a gorgeous garden themed design every element was blooming with unique touches. The bridesmaids wore beautiful ivory chiffon Lela Rose gowns with hand worked rosettes around the halter neckline that they paired with an olive sash around the waist and bouquets in fresh green, fuchsia, pale yellow and crisp white. Catherine wore a beautiful ball gown with fitted bodice and embroidered detailing under the bust. She accessorized with a romantic two tier veil, cameo pearl bracelet and silver heels. Patrick and his groomsmen dressed like classic Southern gentlemen in black tail tuxedos with white button downs, vests, bowties and white gloves for the ceremony at St. Andrews Episcopal in Mt. Pleasant. All white rose pomanders hung from the entryway into the church, while two arrangements of palms and white and pale yellow blooms set in silver vessels on the altar as the two exchanged vows.

The exquisite details started the moment you walked into the historic Hibernian Hall for the couple's garden themed reception. Built in 1840 the stunning landmark featured a pure Greek style with a spectacular rotunda and Corinthian arches. Mary Anne Snyder of Events by Design completely transformed the space into a garden escape with greenery wrapping around the columns and iron chandeliers with gorgeous full arrangements of white hydrangea hanging between each column. Patterned lighting covered the ceiling of the rotunda, providing a warm glow around the room and adding to the tranquility of the design. For dinner tables were draped in apple green linens with patterned white and green runners. Candlelight and small white bud vases of pink peonies adorned the dinner tables and were paired with gold chivari chairs. Cocktail tables covered in glittering apple green paylette linens were scattered throughout and a round white lounge sofa sat in the middle of the room with a magnificent centerpiece of branches and blooms in pale yellow, fuchsia and white. Band The MAXX got all the guests to the dance floor, while a delicious gourmet cake from Weddings Cakes by Jim Smeal gave everyone their sugar fix. The spectacular five tier confection featured alternating tears of pin dot detailing to mimic the design on Catherine's gown and green piping that matched the pattern of the table runners.
