Real Wedding ~ Jennifer and Enan

It's no secret how much we love Juliet Elizabeth Photography and if we could only show one image from this fun Charleston, SC wedding, it would have to be the image of Jennifer playing the guitar. Seriously, it's just so happy and it's one of our favorite wedding photographs ever! That being said, there's so much more to love about Jennifer and Enan's wedding and we have a little secret to tell... they did every bit of it themselves. From the decor to the food, Jennifer and Enan make DIY look divine in a chic palette of apple green, white and black. Enan is a chef and Jennifer is a pastry chef, so the food part was natural. Just two weeks after their wedding, they opened Twenty Six Divine on King Street in Downtown Charleston, offering sweets, catering, wedding cakes and more. For their wedding day, they prepped everything beforehand and then enjoyed the day with family and friends.

Jennifer wore a strapless ivory satin gown gathered and draped at the hip, exposing the tulle skirt beneath. She added a pair of brown cowboy boots and a bold statement necklace made of shells, inspired by their seaside setting at the Citadel Beach House. Her bridesmaids wore black party dresses with apple green sashes, while the groomsmen wore seersucker suits with black ties. The outdoor ceremony was held on the lawn, with black lacquered benches set on either side of the aisle. Wrought iron shepherd's hooks were hung with leafy arrangements and small white orchids in Mason jars, while a wrought-iron arch hung with apple green fabric formed the centerpiece of the ceremony. Jennifer carried a bouquet of white hydrangea and as she walked down the aisle, a groomsmen sang and played the guitar. After Jennifer and Enan exchanged vows, guests made their way inside for the reception. Tables were covered in overlays featuring a bold lime green damask print and set with ultra-modern white and chrome chairs. Centerpieces were made using arrangments of painted gold and silver branches hung with sugar cookies that Jennifer made and frosted in the event palette. Libations were served in cups printed in bright green and Jennifer made their six-tier wedding cake with intricate piped detailing.
