Real Wedding ~ Kayte and David

We love Kayte and David's Atlanta, GA wedding at the King Plow Arts Center photographed by our amazing friends at W. Scott Chester Photography. With their love of art as inspiration, Kayte and David's wedding was super-creative, based on a basic palette of black and white with splashes of bold color thrown in to play off the amazing artwork at the venue. The bridesmaids wore black dresses with custom hair pieces created by House of Tesla in a different hue for each girl. Kayte wore a custom-designed gown by Melissa Sweet complete with pockets and a khaki colored waist-cinching belt. Kayte and David gave each other gifts of commissioned art pieces by their favorite artists and the reception featured fun art-inspired details, including oil paint tubes used as escort cards and easels with table numbers painted on canvas for each table. Guests used the oil paints to decorate tiles for the couple in a modern twist on the traditional guest book. The reception began with a Georgia peach sweet tea cocktail hour and ended with guests rocking out to the Savannah blues band, Hitman. Visit the W. Scott Chester blog to see more of Kayte and David's art infused wedding and to view their engagement session.
