Francie and Ennis wed in an elegant Southern wedding in Charleston, SC photographed by Evan Laettner Photography and planned by the talented team at Distinctive Events. Francie looked stunning in her ivory sheath bridal gown with gently draped bust, lace embellished hem and plunging back with delicate lace panel. She added a lovely cathedral length veil tucked into her low chignon and carried a beautiful bouquet of mixed blooms, including antique hydrangea, cymbidium orchids, calla lilies and china grass. Her bridesmaids wore cocktail dresses in varying silhouettes of strapless and V-neck, but all in the same peridot hue with an ivory sash tied around the waist, while Ennis and the groomsmen wore classic three piece suits paired with peridot ties to match. Working upon the peridot and ivory palette of the ceremony, the reception included a few more colorful hues with the addition of coral and soft pink added to the decor at the historic William Aiken House.Cocktails and dinner were served outside on the piazza where dinner tables were set with brilliant white linens and paired with natural wood chivari chairs. A variety of unique centerpieces decorated the tables from tall birch wrapped vessels with ivory roses, antique hydrangea, tall leafy accents and hypericum berries to bouquets of the same blooms in aged mercury vessels atop peridot linen covered cocktail tables. Dinner tables were situated out on the lawn near the reflecting pond and the pergola which was adorned with spectacular hanging arrangements of coral roses, strands of cymbidum orchids, trailing amaranthus and hydrangea blossoms. Dancing took place under a magnificently fabric draped tent on the beautiful William Aiken House property. Moss balls hung from the ceiling along with iron chandeliers adorned with crystals and set inside pendant shades. An incredible display of food was served for dinner, including an ice block seafood display and for dessert the couple served up their four tier ivory frosted confection decorated with succulents.
