Masterpiece Weddings, an event coordination agency founded by Melissa Margarita-DiStefano, has agreed to donate $1 for every post that mentions their charity event Let's Eat Cake. Weddings Unveiled wants to participate!Let's Eat Cake will be benefitting St. Jude Children's Hospital, an incredible organization that’s dedicated to treating children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. The fundraiser is a wedding cake competition based on design and taste and a cake auction, with confection entries from all over the United States. Bakers will feature their cakes to be judged by Local and National Culinary Celebrities. In addition bakers will be asked to make enough cake to feed the general public, so that they may judge the cakes as well! The cake auction will have cakes donated by participating bakers as well as the general public. The cakes can be decorated in any manner, and they will be auctioned off to the guests in attendance.The goal of Let’s Eat Cake! is to donate at least $50,000 to this deserving organization, and 100% of the proceeds will be directly donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. So far, Melissa of Masterpiece Weddings is almost 30% of the way there, and the benefit hasn't even begun yet! If you can’t attend, you can donate online here.
