Janine, a native of Florida, and Matt, a London Brit, were married at Le Case del Borgo, a luxury spa in Duddova just south of Florence, Italy.
When she met Matt, Janine was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar… that much is true. He was a charming British bloke living in New York. She wooed him with great apple martinis and he won her over with wit and a big heart. Six months later they were dating and loving life in New York City. With friends and family from all over the world, they wanted to marry in a beautiful, practical place somewhere “in the middle.” They researched lots of locations, initially thinking France, but then settled on Italy for its natural beauty and of course, the food!
