Real Wedding ~ Erica and Craig

When our friend Maria of Ritzy Bee Events sent us her sister Erica's gorgeous seaside wedding in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, we were thrilled to feature it on Completely Unveiled. Erica and Maria's sister-in-law, Sarah of Sarah T. Photography photographed the lovely September event inspired by Anne Morrow Lindbergh's book, A Gift from the Sea. The design featured rustic and organic natural elements in a palette of soft seaglass and driftwood, giving it a fresh, airy sea-spray feel.

Erica wore a pretty lace gown while Craig combined his linen seersucker pants and vest with a pale blue tie. The couple's beautiful wedding papers from Simplesong Design featured a light blue sea fan motif found throughout the event details. The reception was held beneath a tent with tables covered in soft white and natural, un-dyed linen, matching the surrounding dunes.
Centerpiece arrangements were made of sea fans in vintage glass bottles filled with sand and gatherings of white and green blooms in blue mason jars and rustic sugarmolds. We love the letterpress "Eat, Drink & be Married" coasters displayed in coral and the sweets display complete with wooden trays and a vintage tiered stand with an aged patina and lacy detailing.
