Started by wedding and fashion photographer Kristen Weaver to benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Images for a Cure has helped raise over $28,000 by bringing together photographers from across the country and abroad to donate their time for donations. After a hugely successful year Images for a Cure is hosting their first photography workshop next week followed by the first annual charity gala to celebrate the 2010 IFAC!The two day intensive workshop will begin with a day of speakers headlined by our very own Creative Director, Brooke Thomas who will be speaking on getting published and what editors are looking for. Also, speaking are Melanie and Brad Watson from La Dolce Vita Studio, Becka and Nate Robinson from Studio 222 Photography, Abby Liga from Liga Photography, Amy Smith Photography, Joey Wright Photography, Jennifer Frances, Melanie Pace and Lunatic Fringe Salon. The following day will include a half day of shooting with some of the most talented photographers in the industry. The Images for a Cure workshop will wrap up with a huge gala celebration at The Mezz with an evening full of food, drinks, showstopping florals and entertainment including a DJ and singer/songwriter Jason Bales.
