Guests put on their best argyle sweaters and plaid pants for the inaugural Gopher Ball hosted by The First Tee of Greater Charleston at Patriots Point Links in Mount Pleasant, SC. The "Caddy Shack" themed costume party had everyone dressed for an evening of fun, which included drinks, light hors d'ouvres and music from Right On Band. The event aimed to help raise support for The First Tee of Greater Charleston, a youth development organization that serves to positively impact the lives of local youth by providing structured character education programs that promote core values and life skills through the game of golf. With over 400 guests in attendance, The First Tee was able to raise $10,000, which will help support The First Tee scholarship fund and provide programs for youth in need.
The event was a huge success thanks to all the vendors that helped put the evening together: Patriots Point Links, Affiniti Golf Partners, East Coast Entertainment, Right On Band, Charlestowne Hotels, BlackJack Barbecue, Nature's Calling, Inc., Snyder Rental, Midtown Bar & Grill, EcoBilt, The Peninsula Co., Palmetto City Photobooth, and Charlotte Elizabeth Photographer who photographed the event.
