Downtown Nashville at sunset is absolutely beautiful and it is exactly where couple Amy and Chris decided to exchange their vows in an intimate ceremony photographed by Caroline Fontenot. Set in the War Memorial Plaza the ceremony took place with the most exquisite backdrop, the stunning War Memorial built in the spectacular Greek Revival style. Black garden chairs lined the aisleway along with small hurricane vases that ran all the way up the stone stairway, while poms made of pages of a book hung from ribbon on the end of the aisleway chairs as decoration. Chris and his groomsmen wore dark navy suits with white button downs and striped blue ties, while the bridesmaids dressed in long crinkle chiffon strapless gowns in horizon from Priscilla of Boston. Three little flower girls carrying moss covered baskets led the way down the aisle, followed by Amy wearing a beautiful simple fitted Lazaro gown that she wore with a waist cinching sash in gray along with a sweet little birdcage veil and ivory pumps adorned with beads. The gorgeous ceremony started just as the sun began to set and ended with the hurricane vases flickering candlelight as it transitioned into night.Inside the War Memorial Auditorium massive tumbling arrangements created by wedding coordinator and florist Big Events Wedding greeted guests as they entered. The large arrangements were set in stone urns with white and off white hydrangea blooms and lilies along with lots of leafy green accents and curly willow branches to give it height. Wheat grass was set at the centerpiece base with small votives giving off a warm candlelight glow and the same pom balls seen in the ceremony decor. A three tier chandelier hung above everyone as they dance to band The Soul Searchers, while patterned lighting lit up the dance floor creating a festive atmosphere for guests. After an evening of dancing and celebration the night ended with a showering confetti send off as Amy and Chris made their way down the stone staircase. Don't miss the spectacular images of the bride and groom at night taken through the War Memorial.
