Alyssa and Michael married in a chic and sophisticated beach affair in Destin, FL photographed by East Hill Photo and designed by Rachel Smith of Katie Parker Weddings. Alyssa looked stunning in her strapless ballgown which she accessorized with a pretty pair of heels adorned with rose blossoms and an her exquisite canary yellow diamond engagement ring. Her bridesmaids wore long black one shoulder satin gowns, while Michael and the groomsmen wore black suits with white button downs and silver vests and ties creating the base to the chic ceremony palette of brilliant white, fresh green and black. The ceremony took place on the outdoor deck of The Emerald Grande overlooking the pristine Destin Harbor and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. White garden chairs were set on the deck creating an aisleway leading up to the canopy made of billowing white fabric and adorned with massive arrangements with fresh green hydrangea blossoms at the base and trailing white orchids. Alyssa and Michael exchanged vows framed by the magnificent floral canopy and with breathtaking views of the ocean in the backdrop.Designed in a palette of pale yellow and crisp white with a few details in black, the beach chic reception took place at Bentley's on the Bay. A long table ran down the center of the space creating a head table for the bride and groom as well as their bridal party, while smaller round tables were situated around them. The tables were draped in soft yellow linens and paired with brilliant white chivari chairs adorned with sheer yellow chair ties, while the bride and groom's chairs featured white satin covers with elegant pleated pickup design. Florist Kebbie Hollingsworth created spectacular centerpieces for the tables, including the exquisite tabletop floral chandeliers made of hydrangea blossoms and hanging strands of orchids. Small arrangements of a mixture of white flowers, including tulips and calla lilies sat in clear glass vases in between the chandeliers, while on some guest tables large gorgeous arrangements of white orchids, calla lilies and hydrangea blossoms provided the main centerpiece to the table. Outside lounge areas were created with low white couches and padded ottomans with sheer white fabric walls and patterned shades creating an intimate atmosphere. Cocktail tables were situated around the perimeter of the dance floor draped in pale yellow linens with floating orchid blossoms in small glass vases as centerpieces, while garden lights were strung above the dance floor. Mr. Big band provided tunes for guests to dance to and at the end of the night fire dancers provided some exciting late night entertainment.
