We loved Amanda and Justin's Wilmington, NC wedding the moment we spotted it on Millie Holloman Photography's blog. The amazing team at Salt Harbor Designs created an exquisite, detail packed event design in a soft palette of green, white, neutrals and a variety of purple hues ranging from dark grape to periwinkle. Amanda wore a sweet strapless A-line lace gown and carried a full gathered bouquet of green and white blooms including orchids with violet centers, scabiosa pods, hyacinth and hydrangea. Justin wore his formal Marine Corps dress blues, along with all his military medals and honors. His military groomsmen also wore their formal attire, while the non-military groomsmen wore black suits with ties in eggplant to match the bridesmaids, who wore dresses in the same shade. Amanda and Justin's son Henry dressed to match the groomsmen and carried a burlap covered ring bearer pillow with sprigs of lavender to match his boutonniere.The reception was held at the Balcony on Dock where Salt Harbor Designs transformed the space with florals and decor inspired by Amanda and Justin's love of wine. The outdoor cocktail hour featured tables draped soft khaki linens set with white garden chairs and centerpiece arrangements of purple and green blooms in mason jars wrapped with twine. Matching umbrellas offered shade and lounge areas were created using sleek modern coffee tables and benches with white cushions. Accent florals were placed throughout the indoor and outdoor event, with tumbling blooms in an antique lavender crate atop a rattan trunk, sprigs of scabiosa pods and greenery in wine bottles and dramatic arrangements in tall wooden plank boxes. Reception tables were covered in deep purple linens with centerpiece florals in aged terracotta and rustic wooden boxes, while votives and lanterns were scattered on tables and window ledges, providing a warm glow for the evening's festivities.
