Sarah Anne and Justin were married on Bald Head Island, one of our favorite places often featured in Weddings Unveiled. Their beautiful November event was photographed by the always amazing Millie Holloman Photography and designed in a chic palette of deep browns, a variety of greens and white. Sarah Anne wore a pretty strapless gown with a full ball gown skirt, a sweetheart neckline and soft ruching on the dropped waist bodice. She added a lace-trimmed cathedral-length veil for the ceremony and carried a dramatic bouquet of large milky white orchids surrounded by sprays of budded dendrobium orchid stems. The flower girls wore wreaths in their hair made of green leaves, small white blossoms and tiny sand dollars, while the bridesmaids wore long chocolate brown gowns and carried bouquets including green celosia, lotus pods, green hydrangea and white and green roses. The groom and groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos with black bowties and white orchid boutonnieres. Sarah Anne and Justin exchanged vows at The Village Chapel of Bald Head Island, a picturesque chapel situated by the marsh near Old Baldy, the island's historic lighthouse. Large wreaths made of green hydrangea and celosia, soft white roses, dried lotus pods and glossy green foliage were hung on the chapel's wooden doors and another on the couple's white getaway golf cart.The reception was held at the Bald Head Island Club where cocktail hour began on the tiled open-air terrace. A mixture of round and highboy cocktail tables were covered in honeydew linens with coordinated overlays and runners in chocolate taffeta with a repeating green and brown sunburst pattern. Low centerpiece arrangements were created in square glass containers featuring a variety of green, brown and white flowers and foliage. Dinner was served inside the club where tables were set with white linens and spectacular centerpieces of fragrant white lilies, dendrobium orchids and palm fronds.
