No doubt... there’s something sexy about a musician. Whether he sings like John Mayer or plays guitar like Jeff Beck, we’ve all loved one. That being said, four of this issue’s real wedding brides married music men. As for the others, one bride’s combination of vintage and DIY style stole our hearts, running shoes led another straight down the aisle and a New York City wedding planner headed South for her own ultra-chic destination nuptials. A retail interior designer for IKEA found inspiration in her husband’s Chinese heritage and created an exquisitely designed event, but perhaps the most endearing story is that of a couple who took a little longer to connect. From an ill-timed wardrobe malfunction to a wedding gown designed by Project Runway star Christian Siriano, their story eventually found its way to happily ever after.
