Nioka and Michael chose Colombia for their spectacular destination wedding in South America, photographed by Kristy Furg Photography. Their traditional Catholic ceremony was held at a historic cathedral where Nioka wore a draped gown by Angel Sanchez and carried a rich bouquet of deep burgundy calla lilies. Michael wore a classic black suit with a black tie and a boutonniere made from a single white calla lily. At the close of the ceremony, Nioka and Michael rode in a horse drawn carriage through the streets of Cartagena while all their weddings guests followed in a festive parade. Drummers led the way to the reception venue where the happy crowd was met with a shower of glittering gold confetti. Nioka changed into a body-skimming halter gown for the reception with a plunging neckline and open back. Dancers dressed in colorful costumes streamed in and handed out masks for a surprise Carnaval celebration and guests danced late into the night. Enjoy!
